Regionally Acquired Brain Injury Unit, Musgrave Park Hospital This is a new-build project consisting of a specialist unit for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients who have suffered a brain injury. It includes both in-patient and out-patient facilities, wards, staff bases, treatment rooms, gymnasium, and extensive therapy gardens. It is intended as a landmark building at the entrance to the hospital campus, and its curved form makes it striking and distinctive. There is an integrated arts project which will enrich and stimulate the patient group. Stradreagh Hospital, Derry Client: Foyle Trust The project involves the relocation of the existing Stradreagh Hospital into existing vacant buildings on the Gransha Hospital site. Stradreagh provides an in-patient facility for a range of clients with learning difficulties and behavioural problems, including, children, physically ill and frail, acute psychiatric and aggressive disruptive. The project involves the refurbishment of a pair of existing buildings, a two storey building, Pine Villa, and a single storey building, Elm Villa, the creation of a two storey reception block which will link the two buildings by means of a single storey walk-way/corridor, and the addition of single storey extension to Elm Villa.
